Which issue does this PR close?

What changes are included in this PR?

  • Bumped toolchain version to rust 1.87 and fixed clippy accordingly
  • updated dependencies list

MSRV was also updated from 1.85 -> 1.87 as part of this releasehttps://github.com//pull/1655

this is the same change as #1687, just need to be rebased
