grid dropdown does not seem to show on top (rc 3/15/15)

I have one grid beneath another and two buttons below that. I hit the dropdown on the top grid and it's over and under the widgets beneath it!

Could you provide a plunker? It's presumably to do with z-order or one of those mystic css things.

With the latest version, the grid menu is never bigger than the grid and this is not an issue.
