Benchmarking of event handlers - do we need to do something like Facebook's synthetic events? Not sure whether it will be an issue yet or not...

Haven't noticed any issue with native browser events. goog.event can also be used instead. Supporting synthetic events would pretty straightforward with the current architecture, but see no pressing reason to add it... Closing for now.
