v2 alpha : images are overlapping and optimizeItemArrangement not satisfying

Current behavior

Using the same code with 3 columns, the images are overlapping now
The optimization optimizeItemArrangement is not what is expected (in fact, it just renders the 3 images in the same row ?)

I think you might be running on old architecture. Please note that v2 runs only on the new arch and falls back to v1 if run on old arch. Once we're out of beta/alpha, we will be dropping support for old arch in v2/

@naqvitalha How can I check I run on new or old arch ?
If it was old arch and falls back to v1, there should be no incidence on the rendering, so it should render the same as v1.

There's a contract change in v2 that isn't available in v1. masonry prop doesn't fallback to MasonryFlashList automatically. You should be able to see in metro whether it's new or old arch. When the app starts, it's usually logged. Or you can use this function and print a log:
