Control function doesn't work: BoundsError: attempt to access Tuple{Vector{Any}, Nothing} at index [3] #3872

When building a control function and trying to use it, I think there is a problem when using parameters of non-float datatype:

julia> typeof.(p)
6-element Vector{DataType}:
 Float64
 Float64
 Float64
 Float64
 SymbolicAWEModels.SystemStructure
 Settings

Because I am getting an error with the following mwe (should work in a clean directory, otherwise run it from here)
