Steps to reproduce

Not sure what happened, I just hit ESC to cancel the command like I've done a thousand times and... boom. Was not able to immediately reproduce and I have stuff to get done so hope the error dump helps.

Expected behavior

No boom?

Actual behavior

Boom happened for no reason at all.

We saw this happened when pressing ESC after resizing the terminal. This was fixed in PSReadLine 2.2.6 by #3074.
