Open Shell Start Menu Sometimes Doesn’t Align Correctly With Task Bar Windows 11

To reproduce

Press start button on windows 11

Expected behavior

About half the time, the start menu is correctly aligned with the taskbar, the other half of the time it appears slightly above the taskbar.

Open-Shell version

4.4.191

Windows version

Windows 11

Additional context

Half the time it works, half the time it doesn’t. I’m new to the program so it’s possible I just need to adjust something or install a different version.

I guess your laptop has touch screen enabled, right?
You can try with build from #1850 PR.
It contains fix for touch-screen devices.

Can confirm this issue is still occurring with version 4.4.194. This has nothing to do with the touch screen. When I disable the touch screen in device manager it still occurs.

Nvm, I selected "Align start menu to working area" in menu look, and it completely solves the problem.

just tried this and it works, not sure why it isnt on by default
