NullValue{} in generated code

I downloaded schema.json from my service provider.
I used graphql-introspection-json-to-sdl to convert it to schema.graphql
I used graphqlcodegen-maven-plugin ( 1.61.5 ) to generate java objects.
At this point the objects will not compile - it complains about:
private Integer maximum = NullValue{};
I get this same error when using gradle:
id "com.netflix.dgs.codegen" version "6.3.0" and "7.0.3"

Is this a bug with the codegen or a lack of configuration ?

an example schema.graphql that creates this issue is:

Did you try setting omitNullInputFields to true? That helped me get past this exact issue, but I'm still working through some other issues. Edit: apparently this might be Maven-only.

It doesn't look like a plugin problem. The main reason, in my opinion, is in the schema definition.
Syntax like maximum: Int = null is invalid.

I am encountering the same problem with plugin version 8.0.4. I using the Introspection schema (json) from Shopify where some fields have a mistyped defaultValue as "defaultValue": "null" instead of "defaultValue": null.
After conversion the Introspection schema to SDL the fields having suffix = null which is not SDL valid. And from invalid SDL is generated invalid = NullValue{}; syntax in java models.

But truly it would be better if the plugin pointed out errors in the SDL script instead of generating nonsense.

I'm not sure @vaclav-doubek comment stands when looking at the spec definition.
InputValueDefinition can accept an optional DefaultValue which can be a NullValue

@iuliiasobolevska could you provide your input here? 🙏

For us this issue arise when using graphqlite to generate the schema from code, since it initializes some input fields as null.
