Makefile problem

When I try to install or Update on Ubuntu, I get:

lancelot@lancelot-jolicloud:~/julia$ sudo make clean
Makefile:215: *** no win-extras target for ARCH=i486.  Alto.
lancelot@lancelot-jolicloud:~/julia$ sudo make
Makefile:215: *** no win-extras target for ARCH=i486.  Alto.

What commit are you on? I am on 0d19559 and I do not have this problem.

Looks like something in the last, because fail on a fresh install. In fact,
can not be installed.

0d19559 is the latest. Is there a reason you're using sudo with make? You shouldn't need to do that.

What does your Make.user file look like, if you have one? Also, do you have something set in your ARCH environment variable?

I believe that I'm using sudo just in case, one of the make or git things
needed a couple of times, but I don't remember.

alberto@bradipo:$ cd julia/
alberto@bradipo:/julia$ cat Make
Makefile Make.inc
alberto@bradipo:~/julia$

seems I messed up the win-extras target for people not using x86_64 or i686 -- I only meant that error to appear if you tried to run that target in Makefile.
