Research: Use ckanext-hierarchy to replace Inventory sub-agencies #5180
Description
User Story
In order to better maintain organization hierarchy, data.gov team wants to use ckanext-hierarchy to replaces sub-agencies functionality.
Acceptance Criteria
[ACs should be clearly demoable/verifiable whenever possible. Try specifying them using BDD.]
- Possible to see children orgs from the parent org page
- Possible to see parent org from the child org page
- parent org datajson export includes all children datasets
- Does it affect publisher hierarchy (Publisher hierarchy is not easily queryable in catalog #2163)
Background
Inventory uses sub-agencies as a Custom Field to maintain organization hierarchy, making it hard to maintain the hierarchy, impossible to find parent org from a child org.
