Feedback for “Andronix Modded OS”: Linux lock screen does not unlock even with the correct password. #19

Description

@JYoon2K

Problem: Linux lock screen does not unlock even with the correct password.

Reproduction:

  • Using a tablet running on Android 13, install Ubuntu 22 (Ubuntu XFCE modded os from Andronix) on Termux
  • Run Desktop using RealVNC
  • Lock screen
  • Try to log in

I tried a few suggestions from
https://askubuntu.com/questions/509834/lock-screen-does-not-unlock-with-correct-password-gnome-and-ubuntu-14-04
but nothing seems to be helpful for me.

I tried to disable lockscreen (gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.lockdown disable-lock-screen true), but lockscreen still happens.

For now, I stop the vncserver whenever I see the locksreen, as there is no way to unlock it, and then start a new vncserver. But GUI will be an important part of my workflow and I cannot work on this system with this problem.
