Quarto + DITA XML: Can .qmd Files Work in a DITA Map?

Hi Quarto folks,

I’m curious if anyone has experience using Quarto Markdown files in DITA XML documentation workflows.

Is it possible to integrate .qmd files directly into a DITA map? Or would a conversion step be needed? Any tips or examples of hybrid workflows would be appreciated!
