I don't use IRC myself but this seems reasonable. I don't know what's the difference between official and unofficial channels, though. |

The intended differences are at: https://freenode.net/policy.shtml#channelnaming In practice the difference only comes up when someone is hogging a primary channel if they don't own it, at which point we have to decide whether it's worth your time to get FreeNode staff involved. But (as the owner of the name) you obviously have more important things to do, such as merging 4-month-old PRs. |

This was added in python#11419 to fix python#11412 However, the presence of this file also configured mypyc's RTD. See python#901 I recently acquired access to mypy's RTD, so I think I can fix without this configuration file.

This was added in python#11419 to fix python#11412 However, the presence of this file also configured mypyc's RTD. See python#901 I recently acquired access to mypy's RTD, so I think I can fix without this configuration file. Co-authored-by: hauntsaninja <>

I've registered
##mypyas an unofficial channel and have already sent my own travis reports there.There are channel-sitters in
#mypy, which is currently unregistered - if you want the channel to be official, you'll have to talk to staff in#freenodeto take it over.
