I have verified my school email, yet the following error remains.
"There was an error creating the discount request. Errors: Discount request could not be created. Discount request errors: School email must be verified on your GitHub account."

This usually happens when GitHub hasn't fully registered your email verification. Try this:

1. Go to Settings → Emails

2. Find your school email and:

   • Click "Resend verification" if needed

   • Set as primary (click the star icon)

3. Wait 10 minutes, then try applying again

If it still fails, try from an incognito window. The system can be slow to update sometimes.

Many users are experiencing the same problem despite having the academic email verified and set as primary. I recommend you contact support by opening a ticket here, select "Other" and explain your problem.
