It would be helpful to have an option in the .nvmrc file to force download a package from a registry, regardless of whether a local version is available. Alternatively, it would be useful to have an option to ignore local packages and always install directly from the npm registry. Currently, the npm cli creates a symlink to the local package, which is not suitable for our use case because we always need the package from our registry due to versioning.
