Expand selection doesnt work as expected.

After several pressing "Alt+Shift+arrow right" (aka Expand selection) I would expect to select Python code block, for instance, select complete class or def. 

In reality, VSCode select the whole file instead, not able to distinguish where to stop.
I checked it with css or html file and the code blocks are picked up correctly there.
