This is an alternative solution to #60.
The
System.PosixCompat.User
module does not seem useful, and now more than ever becauseunix-compat
does not have aunix-2.8.0.0
-compatible release on Hackage.I think we should just delete the module (what this PR implements), rather than provide Windows users with a module of stubs that either crash at runtime, or do nothing and return
