highcharts-core/python-features/from-pandas.ipynb not working, data contains NaN

Example:
highcharts-core/python-features/from-pandas.ipynb

isn't working. On data file highcharts-core/python-features/from-pandas.csv there is a column with empty values that became NaN in pandas and that highcharts doesn't like.
