Project Name: Project Category: Description: JZFS adapts principles of open-source software development and distribution to address the technical challenges of data management, data sharing, and digital provenance collection across the life cycle of digital objects. Compared with code in software development, data tend not to be as precisely identified because data versioning is rarely or only coarsely practiced. Scientific computation is not reproducible enough, because data provenance, the information of how a digital file came to be, is often incomplete and rarely automatically captured. Last but not least, in the absence of standardized data packages, there is no uniform way to declare actionable data dependencies and derivative relationships between inputs and outputs of a computation. JZFS aims to solve these issues by providing streamlined, transparent management of code, data, computing environments, and their relationship. JZFS‘s central use case is the Data Hub-and-Spoke Model integrating JZFS and Filecoin (Like Github, buf for Data) to advancing Open Science/AI/Research which essentially consists of a Git version control for data and a Git collaboration for data. |

Project Name: CrossFi Project Category: Education & Outreach Description: CrossFi is a cross-chain DeFi protocol built to unify isolated assets and liquidity across public blockchains such as Ethereum, Filecoin, BSC, and more. It enables users to deposit native tokens (e.g. FIL), lock them, mint synthetic or “mirrored” versions (cTokens), and use those assets in lending, borrowing, swaps or synthetic asset markets without being constrained by chain boundaries. The native token CRFI powers governance, staking rewards, and serves as collateral for minting synthetic assets. Through features like multi-asset adapter protocols, trust layers (L1+L2), and liquidity sharing pools, CrossFi aims to make cross-chain DeFi seamless, liquid, and more accessible. 🧠 Project NameCurio PDP (Proof of Data Possession) 🧩 Project CategoryData Integrity / Verification / Storage Assurance 🚀 DescriptionThe PDP (Proof of Data Possession) feature is an experimental alpha service that lets clients cryptographically verify a Storage Provider still holds the data they committed to. Curio integrates with Lotus, YugabyteDB, and pdptool to enable this on-chain verification layer. This transforms the trust model: instead of assuming providers hold their data, clients can demand proof at intervals. PDP is currently intended for testing and experimental use only — for production-scale verification, Synapse SDK is recommended. Since the feature was introduced, users have begun spinning up PDP-enabled SPs in dev / test environments, experimenting with proof challenge scheduling, and building the tooling and UX around “proof-of-possession” as a first-class primitive. 🔧 How It Works / Key Technical Highlights

![]() Curio Storage, Inc. – Core Platform HighlightsEnhanced Web UI & Debugging ToolsCurio’s Web UI has evolved into a full‑featured control panel that gives operators deep visibility into every aspect of their Filecoin storage operations. The home page shows chain connectivity, cluster‑machine status, current Proof‑of‑Replication (PoRep) pipelines and a summary of all miner IDs. This makes it easy to spot sync issues or performance bottlenecks at a glance. Drilling down into a sector with the Details button reveals the individual pieces, their storage layout, and detailed metadata. The Node details page provides per‑machine diagnostics—attached storage, running tasks, and status—so operators can debug issues across clusters quickly. WindowPoSt Price Efficiencies & Gas‑Fee ManagementCurio treats Window Proof‑of‑Spacetime (WindowPoSt) as a high‑value operation and puts operators in full control of costs. A configurable maximum gas fee prevents overspending on WindowPoSt messages, while the Balance Manager – Automated Collateral Top‑upsCollateral management is tedious and error‑prone—so Curio automates it. The Balance Manager subsystem monitors a miner’s market escrow balance and automatically sends GPU Over‑Provisioning & Parallel WorkloadsCurio includes an experimental GPU over‑provisioning feature. By setting a single environment variable, each physical GPU can present as multiple logical GPUs. Operators can run concurrent encode or proof workloads—effectively squeezing more throughput out of existing hardware. Snap Deals – Efficient Data IngestionSnap‑deals redefine efficiency for data onboarding. Instead of creating new sectors for every client, Curio lets providers place client data into already‑committed “committed capacity” sectors. This repurposing cuts sealing time and reduces costs. Batch Sealing with SupraSeal – High ThroughputCurio offers a SupraSeal implementation for batch sealing. Though still in beta, it can seal up to 128 sectors at once—delivering up to 16× better core‑utilization efficiency compared to sealing sectors one‑by‑one. SupraSeal optimizes both CPU and GPU resources and writes layer data to raw NVMe devices rather than RAM. Garbage Collection & Cluster ManagementCurio’s built‑in garbage collection framework keeps clusters lean. A periodic task removes completed sealing pipeline entries and identifies failed sectors for clean‑up. The system sweeps through sector files, marks data for removal only when it’s safe, and requires manual approval before deleting physical files. Operators can thus reclaim disk space without risking accidental data loss. Other Innovations & Tools
Curio Storage isn’t just a single product – it’s an ecosystem of tools and services that re‑imagines how Storage Providers deploy on Filecoin. From modern UI and automated balance management to advanced sealing and retrieval pipelines, Curio eliminates manual pain points and lowers the barrier to scaling. As the Filecoin network grows, these innovations help ensure that operators can handle higher volumes, maintain reliability, and control costs—all while contributing to a more decentralized and resilient storage layer.
