Strange visual artifacts below search bar?

I don't think I have any zoom applied. I think there is just some strangeness in whatever background image that is behind the search bar.

See the little bits of grey right along the bottom of the blue section behind the search bar. They don't look intentional.

I think it's the background from the front page. Probably we just want to use the background color rather than the actual background?
