Creating a ticket to track the creation of integration tests on Lambda.

Basically, the idea is to create simple functions/extensions with CloudFormation definitions so that we can easily spin them up and run them to make sure everything is working fine before merging PRs.

I'll tackle this as I had to implement them to have comprehensive tests for #376
