Update to release candidate 1 of ASP.NET Core 8.
Use char overload to resolve analyser warning.
Remove StringComparison argument. This is what happens when you try and code on an iPhone at 37,000 feet above the Atlantic.

Unless there's any new analyzer warnings or other issues, this should be good to rebuild, move out of draft and merge when it's available tomorrow.
