it could also be similar to the localStorage browser apis, where it'd just be a key:value storage and we'd store a raw json ourselves rather than have the game handle jsons |

Something similar was possible using source 1 vscripts and was used be quite a few workshop maps to track players progression
this would be then saved into eg.
csgo/scripts/saves/mapname/slot1.jsonperhaps another var can be used on the LoadData method to load saves from other maps too
