Question regarding Immersed Boundary method

I want to do a jet flow simulation. For this purpose i created an stl file of a pipe with wall thickness 5mm. I want to include this file in the case.py file . Does MFC support an annular pipe as an immersed surface? what should be "patch_ib(1)%geometry" ?
Immersed boundary mode is enabled
number of immersed surfaces is 1
no slip condition is enabled

This seems correct. Is it giving you a problem?

unfortunately yes. I get this error when i run pre_process with patch_ib(1)%geometry: 12 . when i try with patch_ib(1)%geometry: 5 the simulation runs without throwing errors but the stl file is not immersed into the computational domain. I am using MFC v5.0.4

Is this the same type of STL file as the one in the examples? There are examples that use stl files, I would compare against those and see the exact differences with yours. Otherwise, without thorough information, it's unclear how to help.
