Can you provide a compilation of alpine

I hope to run lua lsp in the docker alpine environment. But there is no official binary executable file of alpine

The binary program here cannot be run directly under alpine. Need to recompile. I found the available images from the docker hub and extracted the binary files.

@weppami I found a fix that does not require recompiling. It's questionable (see disclaimer), but it works for running the VS Code extension in an alpine linux development container. You could probably adapt it for use elsewhere, too.

Here's my devcontainer.json:

NOTE: As time goes on, you will need to change the paths depending on the version of the VS Code extension you are using. In my case, it was 2.5.3.

The apk package install command came from the docker image that @sbfkcel linked. I found it while exploring the image layers, roughly here.

The commands after that essentially nuke the lua-language-server Linux binary that comes with the extension, and replace it with a symlink to the alpine-compatible one we just installed.

DISCLAIMER: My fix is jank. I am not responsible for the total annihilation of your development environment. There is probably a way better and easier way of doing this, but I've already spent way more time than I wanted to trying to get this working in a VS Code development container.
