It seems netCDF is not installed automatically for Python 3.6 and 3.7. See https://travis-ci.org/GenericMappingTools/gmt-python/jobs/454292205 for detailed build logs.

Explicitly install netCDF4
38d9b46 
conda-forge/xarray-feedstock drops optional dependencies several days
ago. Thus we need install netCDF4 explicitly.
