I think we could link to the project from README as one simple thing (for this repo or I am open to ideas of integration, but off-hand not sure how it could fit with existing Jackson components. |

I didn't seem to find any implementation of a SAX like JSON processing implementation. So I built one on top of Jackson's streaming API. It's available here : https://gitlab.com/bhabegger/json-events
The goal is, just like SAX, to be able to be able to process big JSON documents with low memory footprint, yet, still less low level than the tokens of the stream API. (I used it playing around with Wikidata's json dump).
If there is an interest I'm happy to bring it here :)
