Dashboard navbar buttons don't work

Description

Sorry, I don't know how to make this reproducible, since it's such a bizarre issue. Here's the link to the page I'm talking about:

This dashboard was working just fine when it was rendered as an independent webpage in RStudio. However, once I copied it over and added it as a link on my larger website, the navbar buttons stopped working. When I click on them, I can see the link changing - for example, I can see "#tables" text added in the address bar when I click the Tables button. But the browser won't actually navigate to that link unless I manually refresh the page with that modified link.

Side question: I also haven't been able to figure out why the Leaflet markers never seem to render the first time, but pop up just fine after I refresh the page once.

With absolutely no code, there is absolutely nothing to be done to help (that includes your "side question").

Note also that there are issues and discussions opened about widgets and dashboards, I suggest you look for them and see if those are relevant to you.

Okay, interestingly, this super basic example actually also has the same error. The problem is that this error only exists when I render the page as part of my website structure - it works fine rendered in its own standalone project. I tried doing some searching, but this is such a strange error, I haven't found much discussion on it.

1. Avoid library(tidyverse) in example because that's an enormous dependency which you don't even use.
2. The current stable version is 1.7.29. Try using the latest stable version

If the issue arise only in a website. Please make a Git repository starting with quarto create project website and share the Git repository.
Finally, please do ensure you serve your HTML files through the http/https protocol and not via the file protocol.

You were mentioning issue with leaflet but your example only has a static plot.

I decided to try just deleting the entire _site folder and re-rendering the whole website, and that seems to have solved the issue. So maybe something got corrupted somehow, and that was impacting navigation. Thanks for your time!
