I don't seem to have reviewer privileges, or at least I can't click anything when I open the Review code tab. Is it possible for you to add me somewhere to the Nashorn contributors? |

Insn't the ant test suite (or however it now was powered) run as part of the checkin tests for the Nashorn project? Unless jcheck handles that, but it runs for a suspiciously short time.
Over time, a bunch of unused imports, unnecessary local variables, opportunities to lambdify and use better APIs have sprung up. A tidy pass over Nashorn codebase is overdue, still keeping Java 11 as a target (so, not using any 12+ features yet.)
