Since we need to reload NGINX to apply config updates, come up with some configuration and change it over time. Ensure that next releases doesn't increase the number of observed reloads.

Acceptance

  • A test process is documented to change resources in an example NKG environment and measure the number of total and failed reloads.
  • No element of the test is randomized.
  • The number of total and failed reloads are reported as the result of the test.
  • The test is carried out manually and the results are reported in a static document within the NKG repo.

We are already checking reloads as a part of our other NFR testing.
