I had ghc 8.6.5 installed and hie-8.6.4 built and received warning.
And then I received this errors:

hie not longer uses cabal-hie-wrapper so this one should be fixed, @Huxpro feel free to reopen if you continue hitting this with latest versions of hie and the extension
