Feature Description

With active projects using Gitea, I would like the ability to watch only the first comment / original post of new issues and pull requests, so my email would potentially get less cluttered and when someone opened an issue interesting me, I could navigate to the issue and subscribe everything else.

This feature exists in Discourse, where I have found myself enjoying it. There is also an feature request to github.com itself.

Loosely related (at least in my mind): #6426 on following only releases/tags

Not intending this comment to be a fix, but as a meantime workaround, you could potentially use a webhook set to only open/closed issues for this, though it would likely need some form of transformative in-between process.

I do think it would be a good feature, though! 👍
