That even if a user creates a workspace from the browser she gets the local VS Code.

@gtsiolis I think we need another dimension for VS Code which allow to choose between Web, Desktop and Desktop Insiders in the settings view. On the loading screen for the running phase we need buttons to continue either with Web or Desktop.

@akosyakov two questions:

  1. Are we going to also offer Insiders for the Web IDE?
  2. Latest is only available for the Web IDE, right?

Latest/Stable is not relevant, it is only for Server which we run in the workspace. A user can use different clients to connect to server, it can be vscode web, vscode desktop and vscode desktop insiders. It is another dimmension.

We decided to postpone it till VS Code Desktop does not run smoothly on all platforms to make it less visible.
