With Dedicated, the telemetry component is still quite useful to understand the usage of Gitpod by customers better. We should write an RFC about the future of telemetry.

  • What existing telemetry data is useful for Dedicated?
  • What additional telemetry data do we need?
  • How can we improve the telemetry dashboard?
  • How can we improve the collaboration with all teams regarding telemetry? How can other teams contribute to telemetry?
  • What technical debts do we need to address (e.g. [1])?
