I'm in a hotel and my wifi dropped in the middle of an auto-update download. First, I had to force quit the editor. Then, on restart, it thinks it had the full download, but of course errors when it tries to install it.

How to avoid this situation if/when a download of an auto-update fails in the middle?

I worked around this by finding the download inside my install dir and manually deleting it.
