What went wrong? 🤔

I have a Brave window with ~30 tabs in a group all suspended using The Marvellous Suspender extension. About 20 of those were replaced with "New Tab" showing Daily Dev. Fortunately the history was still there so I could go "back" in each tab to restore my tabs previous page but they shouldn't have been replaced to begin with.

Expected Behavior

Existing tabs with content should persist in my browser session and not load a new Daily Dev tab replacing my tabs content.

Steps to Reproduce Issue

There are no steps that come to mind. Perhaps restarting either the browser or the machine and the restoration of the browser state?

Hi @christowiz,

Thanks for reporting this issue. This is highly unexpected behavior, and I'm not sure it's related to our extension directly.
Are you able to reproduce it? By any chance, did it happen when you updated your browser?

Hi, @idoshamun. I'll re-enable the extension and see if I can find a specific flow when it happens. It's hard to say if it happened after a browser update. Brave updates all the time. It could have been a crash or just restoring the windows/tabs when re-launching
