Branch protection rules?

Shouldn't we have a branch protection rule on main? I cannot configure it due to some central restriction...

They will become available automatically once we publish the repository. To make them available while this is a private repository, we need to assign this organization to our Enterprise contract (some organizational aspects are still not clarified here...). Please let me know if you need them before we go public with this one here...
